The Salzburg Festival officially began on August 22, 1920.
It has long been regarded as one of the world’s most important festivals for opera, concerts, and dramas, attracting leading performers and audiences from around the world.
This is part of what makes the Patti and Allan Herbert Frost School of Music Program at Salzburg so exciting!
We are there at the height of the festival and have been for over 30 years!
As part of their summer in Salzburg, students receive tickets to select Festival events, including concerts, operas, and Lieder recitals.
